ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on the design and development of electrical systems for custom automation and machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software Specify and select electrical components (e.g., sensors, drives, PLCs, HMI panels) Prepare panel layouts, bills of materials, and wiring diagrams Support panel assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting as needed Work closely with mechanical designers, controls engineers, and project managers Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards (e.g., CSA, UL) Provide technical support during build, testing,

and commissioning phases QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in electrical design for machinery or automation Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software Knowledge of electrical standards and codes (CSA, NEC, UL) Familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) is an asset Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as partof a multidisciplinary team WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive salary Health benefits package Opportunity to work on diverse and exciting engineering projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Apply now to be part of our cutting-edge automation solutions!
